Man charged in November Hamilton stabbing, victim suffered life-altering injuries

Hamilton police have charged a man with attempted murder in an early November stabbing incident.
On Friday, Nov. 8 at 11:30 p.m. a man was walking in the area of 810 Main St East when he was approached by an unknown man asking for change.
The man turned him down and he was then attacked by the suspect who stabbed him multiple times in the head and back before fleeing the area.
The victim was transported to hospital where he received treatment for life-altering injuries.
After a thorough investigation Hamilton police have arrested 37-year-old David McGregor and charged him with attempted murder.
