At the ripe age of 79, former prime minister Jean Chretien is learning to kite surf.

First, though, he had to learn how to wakeboard. Video (below) shows Chretien being towed behind a boat while vacationing in Buxton, North Carolina earlier this month. Officials with kitehattaras.net say our former PM did very well and would have been able to move on to kitesurfing, but the winds weren’t strong enough.
