Harper makes deals with Brazilian president

Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff announced a handful of small trade deals from Brasilia today.

The leaders made deals on air transport, social security and a plan to co-operate on aid in third world countries.

They are also planning a business leaders forum that would see Canadian and Brazilian executives meet for high-level diplomatic talks.

The meeting got off to a bit of a rocky start, however, when Brazilian officials blocked media from a previously approved photo-op.
