Police offer $50K reward for information on Musitano’s murder

First Published:

Hamilton police are offering a $50,000 reward for information that can help solve the murder of Angelo Musitano.

Musitano was shot and killed in May 2017 while sitting in his vehicle outside his Waterdown home. His death has been linked to a murder two months earlier in Vaughan. Hamilton police have been working with York police and the RCMP on the investigation.

Police believe Musitano’s murder is part of an ongoing feud between organized crime groups within the GTHA. They believe three people are directly involved in both murders.

In September, Jabril Abdalla was arrested at home in Hamilton, while Canada-wide warrants were issued for the arrests of Michael Graham Cudmore, of Hamilton, and Daniel Mario Tomassetti, of Ancaster.

Police say Cudmore flew to Cancun, Mexico in May 2017 and Tomassetti followed him there in January.

There’s no indication that either Cudmore or Tomassetti have returned to Canada.

Police are hoping the reward will encourage people to come forward and provide further information that will help lead to arrests.
