Woman faces seven charges in Haldimand County weapons probe

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a woman in connection to a weapons-related investigation in Haldimand County.

On Friday at around 1:10 a.m., OPP responded to a weapons-related call for service in Hagersville.

Upon arrival, officers witnessed a woman in an intoxicated state causing a disturbance.

During the arrest, one officer was assaulted and no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

Chyaene Seth, 25, of Ohsweken, located within the Six Nations of the Grand River, in Brant County, is facing seven charges including assault with a weapon, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and mischief to destroy or damage property.

On Friday, the accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga.
