Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say a crash involving a motorcycle and a sport utility vehicle (SUV) has left a Norfolk County man dead.
On Tuesday at around 5:03 p.m., OPP responded to the collision on 10th Concession Road, just outside Silver Hill.
Officers say as a result of the crash, the motorcyclist, a 34-year-old Norfolk County resident, sustained life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV along with several passengers were uninjured.
On Wednesday at around 2:30 a.m., 10th Concession Road between Forestry Farm Road and East Quarter Line Road reopened.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have dash cam footage or information that could assist, to contact the Norfolk County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 and reference incident E261231329.
