What the CRTC registration for podcasts and online streaming means for your fave shows

For five days now, people have been taking to social media to express concerns over a decision late Friday from the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission.

The CRTC announced that online streaming and podcasting services that make more than $10 million in annual revenue will have to register with the CRTC by November 29.

For more on the announcement, we spoke with Daniel Tsai, he’s a lawyer, business executive and a professor at Toronto Metropolitan University.
