It’s a weekend of workshops aimed at helping amputees and their families with important information and support. The War Amps gathered families from across Ontario at a special seminar in Burlington today. The participants are comparing notes on tools and techniques to help them gain independence.

People exchange information on artificial limbs and sharing their experiences living with them.

Regional seminars like this one are a staple of the War Amps outreach program. Organizers say about 100 from across the golden horseshoe are in attendance.
