Canada stands firm against Donald Trump’s tariffs

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau promises the country will not back down after United States President Donald Trump’s 25 percent tariffs on Canadian goods went into effect overnight.  The president has imposed hefty taxes across the board on imports from Canada and Mexico, adding a 10 percent tariff on Canadian energy. He has also increased the levy on goods from China.
