Police identify person in case of fetus found in Oakville park

Police have identified a person in connection with an investigation into a fetus found in a park in Oakville on May 19.

Officers were called to Oakdale Park around 8:45 a.m. when a pedestrian walking near Munn’s Creek saw the fetus.

Halton police say they are working with the coroner’s office as this investigation continues.

No arrests have been made or charges have been laid at this time.

Investigators are asking residents in the area to review their surveillance video or dash camera footage taken after 7 p.m. on May 18.
