Niagara police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect after an armed bank robbery in Welland last week.
Police responded to a report about a robbery at the CIBC Bank on 200 Fitch St. around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Upon arrival, police determined that a man entered the bank, brandished a handgun and demanded cash.
Police say the suspect fled the area after receiving an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 30’s or 40’s, around five-foot-six, with grey hair or possibly wearing a wig.
He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat with a red brim, blue surgical mask covering his face, black jacket with a hood, grey pants or possibly blue jeans and shoes with a white sole.
Investigators continue to ask residents and businesses in the area to review their surveillance footage.
