Police investigate shots fired at Brantford home

Brantford police are investigating after gunshots were fired at a home and are asking residents in the area to come forward with surveillance footage.

Police responded to the area of Stauffer Rd. and Tarrison St. after receiving reports of shots fired shortly after 2 a.m. Monday.

Upon arrival, officers found several shell casings. It was determined that a house on Stauffer Rd. was hit with gunfire.

Police say a vehicle was seen leaving the area after the shooting. There were no reported injuries and no arrests have been made.

Investigators are asking residents in the neighbourhood who have video to check their footage between 1:45 a.m. and 2:30 a.m.

Police will be patrolling the area Monday morning and are available to speak with anyone who may have information regarding this incident.

This investigation is active and ongoing, police say additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
