Ontario reported 3,065 cases of COVID-19 and eight deaths on Tuesday.
The daily case count comes as the province completed 37,541 tests. The reported positivity rate, which takes into account the date tests were done, is 8.9 per cent.
Another 1,976 cases have been marked as resolved.
Ontario is reporting 3,065 cases of #COVID19 and over 37,500 tests completed. Locally, there are 955 new cases in Toronto, 561 in Peel, 320 in York Region, 165 in Ottawa and 132 in Niagara.

There are 1,161 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 across the province. There are 510 patients in ICU due to the virus with 310 of them on ventilators.
The death toll is now 7,458 people.
The province says it administered 76,199 vaccine doses by 8 p.m. on Monday.
There are 323,148 people in Ontario who are fully vaccinated.

There are now 2,165 confirmed cases of the B.1.1.7 lineage of the virus, which was first reported in the U.K.
There are 71 confirmed cases of the B.1.351 strain, first reported in South Africa and 106 confirmed cases of the P.1 strain first reported in Brazil.
