Niagara Police investigating death of elderly man in Pelham

Niagara Regional Police are investigating an overnight death in Pelham.

Officers were called to the area of Highway 20 and Cream St. for a welfare check around 2 a.m. Friday.

They found an elderly man with serious injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Niagara detectives and members of the collision reconstruction unit are at the scene.

Police say the circumstances of the death remain under investigation.
