West Nile mosquitoes in Niagara-Toronto
West nile virus has been detected in parts of Southern Ontario earlier than any past season.
Researchers believe it is because of our hotter than normal spring.
St. Catharines and Toronto are the latest cities to have mosquitoes test positive for the virus.
Officials recommend draining stagnant water, and covering up when outdoors.
Last week mosquitoes in Oakville and Milton tested positive for the virus.
