Premature birth and grades
Babies born just a couple weeks early are more likely to test poorly in school.
A study looked at more than 100,000 babies born between 37 and 41 weeks, which is technically considered full-term.
However, researchers found those born at 37 and 38 weeks were more likely to score lower on grade three reading and math tests.
Experts say the brain develops rapidly during the last weeks of pregnancy, and even a slightly early delivery may disrupt the process.
