Largest fresh food rescue hub in Halton and Hamilton helps feed those in need
Steve Ruddick was at Food for Life in Burlington, which helps out people who are food insecure.
The largest food rescue hub in Halton and Hamilton gets donations and redistributes food such as meat, potatoes, vegetables, desserts etc. to over 100 programs and 4000 households every week.
Their mission is “Rescuing Food. Impacting Lives” as they want to make healthy food accessible to everyone.
