Kids get to play medical professional
For a group of Hamilton students, this school day was like no other.
They had to sterilize surgical equipment, resuscitate a patient in cardiac arrest, and do a little lab work. It was ‘take your kids to work day’, and Hamilton Health Sciences gave about 200 grade 9 kids a behind-the-scenes look at health care.
