HAPPENING NOW:

Exercise and cancer

People undergoing cancer treatment, or cancer survivors, can further improve their health by exercising.

Patients who walked, rode bikes, participated in yoga class or strength training programs were found to be in better health than those who didn’t exercise.

They were also more social, less tired, slept better and felt less pain.

Experts say they are still trying to determine which type of exercise would benefit cancer patients the most.
