Bullying and autism
Almost half of all teenagers with an autism spectrum disorder are bullied at school.
The study is based on surveys of parents across the U.S.
Among the general teen population, only about 10% are bullied.
Researchers say their findings suggest schools should target their anti-bullying campaigns toward more vulnerable kids, such as children with autism and ADHD.
