Birth after 40 may have benefits

Women who give birth after 40 may be protected from endometrial cancer, or uterine cancer.

Researchers analyzed more than a dozen studies, finding women who had a baby after 40 had a 44% reduced risk of endometrial cancer.

This was compared to women who had given birth before age 25.

It’s unclear why this is, but researchers say more studies should explore this link.
