Hamilton Amateur Astronomers Perseid meteor shower public night

Bring snacks, a blanket or lounge chair because lying down is the best way to see the meteor shower. Members will have telescopes set up for viewing and there will be children’s educational activities.

When: 8 p.m..– 11 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026. Gates close at 9:30 p.m.

Where: Binbrook Conservation Area – 5050 Harrison Road, Binbrook, Ontario, L0R 1C0. Proceed south on Hwy 56 through Binbrook. Turn right onto Kirk Rd. Turn left onto Harrison Rd. The park entrance is on Harrison Rd.
