A woman has been airlifted to hospital, after her car collided with a transport truck this morning in Beamsville, west of St Catharines.

It happened on King St and East Ave at 8:30. Police, fire and EMS are on scene. Details of the woman’s injuries are unknown, but she’s expected to survive.

Roads in the area are expected to re-open soon.
