Police say a 78-year old woman was seriously hurt while crossing the street at Gage and Maplewood Avenues in Hamilton Wednesday night. They say the woman was hit by a car making a left turn onto Maplewood from Gage. Police say the driver has been charged with careless driving and windshield obstructed.
