Woman hit by bus identified

Police now know the identity of a woman hit by a school bus last night on Hamilton Mountain. However they are not releasing her name. They have confirmed that she lives on the mountain, and say her family has been notified.

The 73 year old was struck crossing Stone Church Road at Rochelle Avenue yesterday afternoon. Police say she didn’t appear to notice the bus, which was not carrying students.

She struck her head on the pavement, and was confused when talking to paramedics. She remains in hospital for treatment & recovery.
