Wig bandits busted

Hamilton Police have arrested two people in a pair of robberies where the suspects were wearing wigs.

They happened Saturday at a Subway in Waterdown, and Monday at a Love Shop on Hamilton Mountain.

Amanda King, 21, of Freelton and Nikola Antic, 43 of Burlington are charged with robbery, wearing a disguise, and administering a noxious substance. Antic faces an additional charge of breaching probation.

Police say they’ve interviewed a third person whose photo the released; they have determined she’s got nothing to do with the case.
