Hamilton Police are looking for two suspects and a possible witness after two recent robberies. They believe the crimes are linked because the suspects were spotted wearing wigs at both locations.

Female suspect (Hamilton Police)

This past Saturday a man and woman robbed a Subway sandwich shop at 275 Highway 5 in Waterdown, pepper-spraying the cashier before cleaning out the till.

Male suspect (Hamilton Police)

Then yesterday, they pulled the same stunt at the Love Shop at Fennell and Upper James on Hamilton Mountain. They both wore gloves during the robberies.

Possible witness (Hamilton Police)

As well, this woman was seen leaving Subway as the pair entered. Police want to ask her if she saw anything suspicious.

Anyone with information about her or the wigged suspects is asked to call Hamilton Police Detective/Constable Mark Mayner of the BEAR Unit at 905-546-8938, or Det/Sgt Emidio Evangelista at 905-546-2991; or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
