Drivers heading toward Niagara should anticipate delays this weekend as two lanes on the Burlington Skyway will shut down starting Friday night.
From north of the Skyway Bridge, including the bridge, two of four right lanes will close from 10 p.m. Friday and are set to reopen at 5 a.m. Monday.
The ramp from Eastport Drive and the collector lanes to the bridge will remain open for most of the weekend, except Friday between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., and Sunday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. when the ramp is closed.
All ramps at the Northshore Boulevard Interchange will remain open.

Eastport Drive will also be fully open as an alternate route to re-enter the QEW Niagara bound.
Construction of the Skyway Bridge started in May 2024 and is anticipated to be completed by December of this year.
All lane closures are subject to change and are weather dependent.
During highway closure weekends, travellers heading to the Niagara region are encouraged to consider GO Train service as an alternative to driving.
