Ontario health officials will be providing their regular update on COVID-19 Monday afternoon.

Dr. David Williams, Chief Medical Officer of Health will be joined by Dr. Barbara Yaffe, Associate Chief Medical Officer of Health at 3 p.m. 

The update comes as the province recorded over 1,600 cases of COVID-19 on Monday.

The Ministry of Health says the daily count is higher than expected because of data issues.
