Warplane museum’s Lancaster coming home to Hamilton

The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum’s Lancaster bomber has left Iceland heading for home.

That’s good news after weather delayed this leg of the return flight by a couple of days. The next stop is Goose Bay, Labrador at about 3 pm.

Vera is expected to arrive back home in Hamilton on Sunday. Museum president and CEO David Rohrer is one of those flying her.
