Vanessa Bryant will get names of deputies who allegedly shared photos of crash site

Vanessa Bryant, widow of Kobe Bryant, has won a court case against the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department.

She will be able to get the names of the deputies who allegedly shared graphic photos of the helicopter crash that killed her husband and their 13-year-old daughter Gianna.

Seven other people were also killed in the Jan. 26, 2020 crash.

The sheriff’s department had refused to release the names and ranks of the officers involved in the alleged misconduct.

Sheriff Alex Villanueva previously confirmed that all photos of the crash that were in the possession of those deputies have been deleted.
