Meghan and Harry interview describes lack of support in Royal Family

Oprah Winfrey’s interview with Meghan and Harry has produced several revelations.
Harry and his wife Meghan described the intense pressures of life under the control of Buckingham Palace in a wide-ranging interview that aired last night.
Meghan, who is biracial, told Winfrey in the interview airing Sunday night in Canada and the U.S. that there were discussions among the royal family about how dark her son’s skin would be.
Meghan said she experienced suicidal thoughts. She said she sought help through the palace’s human resources department, but was told there was nothing they could do.
Both Meghan and Harry were critical of the royal family and those who work for
them, but both refused to criticize Queen Elizabeth.
Meghan says the queen has “always been wonderful to me.”
Prince Harry says he will always love his father, but there is a lot to work through with their relationship.
Harry also acknowledged he doesn’t have a close relationship with his brother William, and at one point Prince Charles stopped taking his calls.
The couple also revealed they are having a girl this summer.
The interview special will be shown the tonight in Britain.
