Two in hospital after Brant County three-vehicle crash

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say a three-vehicle crash in Brant County has left two people in hospital.

On Tuesday at around 8:30 p.m., OPP with assistance from local fire and paramedic services responded to a three-vehicle collision on Brant-Oxford Road near Township Road 6.

Officers say a 28-year-old driver from Kitchener sustained serious, life-altering injuries and was transported to Hamilton General Hospital for treatment.

Investigators say a second driver, a 19-year-old from Kitchener, was taken to Brantford General Hospital with fractured ribs.

Detectives say two other occupants involved in the crash sustained minor injuries and refused medical treatment at the scene.

Brant-Oxford Road was closed during the investigation but has since reopened.
