Toronto police charge Hamilton man after TMU members threatened

Toronto police have charged a Hamilton man in connection with multiple online threats issued over the weekend to members of the Toronto Metropolitan University community.
Officers said the threats were made on both Saturday and Sunday.
Investigators say a suspect was arrested after a search warrant was executed Monday in Hamilton and multiple electronic devices were seized.

Usman Suhrwardy, 39, has been charged with 23 counts of uttering threats of death or bodily harm and three counts of harassment.
Suhrwardy is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
