Three men wanted after daytime shooting at Burlington plaza

Halton police are looking for three men after a daytime shooting behind a Burlington plaza that injured one person.

It happened at Lakeside Shopping Village at 5353 Lakeshore Rd., between 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Wednesday, in what’s believed to be a targeted incident.

Investigators say the masked men approached someone walking to a vehicle with three people inside it.

Police report that one of the suspects pulled out a sawed-off shotgun and fired a shot at the car’s window.

One individual suffered minor injuries.

Halton police are asking anyone with information or surveillance video to contact them.
