A 17-year-old boy has been upgraded to stable condition after being thrown off his motorcycle following a collision with a minivan.

The teen was riding a Yamaha motorbike on Golf Links Rd. in Ancaster just before 7 p.m. Wednesday when the crash happened.

He was taken to Hamilton General Hospital with serious injuries but is now stable.

Hamilton police are investigating the collision.
