Teen dies in weekend collision in Milton after car hits hydro pole

A 17-year-old boy died after the car he was driving hit a hydro pole in Milton on Saturday.

Halton police say the teenager was driving a 2005 Honda Civic southbound on Sixth Line Nassagaweya when he lost control and hit a hydro pole on the east side of the roadway.

The un-named individual sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police he was the only person in the car, and there were no other vehicles involved.

The cause of the collision is being investigated.
