Driver wanted in Milton Halloween hit-and-run

Halton police are looking to identify the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that injured two youths on Halloween night in Milton.

The collision happened around 9:45 p.m. Oct. 31 when the young men walking eastbound on McCuaig Drive were struck in the intersection of McCuaig Drive and Andrews Trail.

A car described as a newer model black Honda Civic was heading westbound on McCuaig Drive, made a right turn (northbound on Andrews Trail) and hit them in the intersection.

The vehicle then reversed out of the intersection and proceeded west on McCuaig Drive and north onto Thompson Road.

The two youths suffered minor injuries and one was transported to hospital.

Police say there’s no evidence to suggest it was a targeted hit-and-run.
