The town of Lincoln has put together a tariff response team to help businesses affected by the Canada-U.S. trade war.

The response team is a partnership between the Downtown Beamsville BIA, the Lincoln Economic Development Office, and the local Chamber of Commerce.

The group intends to monitor tariff-related issues and provide businesses with resources that could keep them afloat during the economic uncertainty.

City officials say they are committed to four key mandates and goals, including a “buy local” campaign and engaging with provincial and federal policymakers.
