Hamilton police investigating targeted arson attacks near Gage Park, no injuries reported

Hamilton police are investigating an arson attack that took place Thursday morning at a house near Gage Park.
Officers say the flames were contained to the front porch, and crews were quickly able to extinguish the blaze.
Two people were inside the home when the fire began around 3 a.m., but no injuries were reported.
Investigators estimate the damage to be around $150,000.
This is not the first time this home has experienced a fire. Firefighters confirmed that a car fire happened at the same address on March 11.
A Hamilton police spokesperson added that the house’s fence was set on fire on March 10, and that it’s safe to assume these are targeted incidents.
