Officers were out on patrol near Upper Wentworth St. near Stoney Church Rd. around 10 p.m. Wednesday when they spotted a pickup truck accelerate at a high rate of speed.

They say the Ford F-150 was clocked going 126 kilometres an hour in a posted 50 kilometre zone.

The truck was pulled over and the 23-year-old driver was arrested and charged with stunt driving.

Officers also discovered the man was driving with a suspended licence.

His truck was seized for seven days in accordance with the Highway Traffic Act.
