St. Catharines man charged in Canadian Tire gas station robbery
Niagara police have arrested and charged a 48-year-old man in connection with a robbery at a gas station last month.
Officers say the incident happened on Dec. 28 around 6:45 a.m. at the Canadian Tire gas station on Welland Ave. near Neilson Ave. in St. Catharines.
Investigators say the man demanded money from the clerk and threatened them with a knife that was not seen.

He received an undisclosed amount of money and fled the area.
Police arrested and charged Daniele Roberto Sforza of St. Catharines with robbery and failing to comply with a probation order.
