A St. Catharines man has been charged after vandalizing a local church with graffiti.
Niagara police were called to a church in the area of Church and Queenston streets in early September to investigate reports of graffiti damage.
On Sept. 25 members of the police’s Community Oriented Response and Enforcement (CORE) unit arrested and charged forty-year-old Patrick Cliff with two counts of failing to comply with a probation order and three counts of mischief under $5,000.
Police did not say what type of graffiti it was.
Cliff participated in a video link bail hearing on Sept. 26 where he was released with a future court date.
Members of the CORE Unit continue to work with area businesses in an effort to address graffiti concerns.
