A cyclist has died as a result of an early-morning collision on Appleby Line north of Harvester Road in Burlington.
Police say the cyclist was struck by a Mazda SUV just before 6:30 a.m. and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Mazda remained on scene and is cooperating with the police, and the Collision Reconstruction Unit took over the investigation.
Appleby Line was closed for a few hours due while the authorities were on scene.
