Sousa looking to avoid labour hangover at LCBO
The long weekend is now just two days away, and the threat of a strike at the LCBO has people stocking up on liquor a little earlier than usual.
The strike deadline is 12:01 this Friday, which means if there is a labour disruption Thursday is the last day it will be business as usual at liquor stores. Ontario’s finance minister Charles Sousa says he’s hopeful an agreement can be reached, and a strike avoided.
