Ontario Provincial Police has arrested six people after more than $22 million worth of illegal cannabis was seized in Niagara Region.
Police executed search warrants at two greenhouses and two homes in Vineland and St. Catharines last Thursday.
Officers discovered roughly 21,000 illegal cannabis plants and over 181 kilograms of processed illegal cannabis.
Four Toronto-area residents and two St. Catharines residents have been arrested and charged.
The accused are scheduled to appear in a St. Catharines court on Dec. 23.
The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with additional information to contact Niagara Regional Police Service.
