Single vehicle collision in Thorold sends woman to hospital

A 20-year-old Hamilton woman is in hospital following a single vehicle collision in Thorold on the weekend.

The collision happened Saturday near Merrittville Highway and Beaverdams Road when a Ford Fusion left the road at the intersection.

Police have not identified what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.

Anyone with information or video footage leading up to the incident is asked to contact Niagara police.
