Shooting in Guelph leaves a 16-year-old in hospital

A 16-year old girl from Toronto is in the hospital after being shot at Super 8 Motel.

Guelph Police Services received a report of a shooting at the motel which is located at the corner of Woodlawn Road West and Silvercreek Parkway North.

Officers responded and found a 16-year old female victim with gunshot wounds who was then transported to hospital.

Guelph Police are encouraging anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact our investigative services branch.

The investigation remains active and underway.
