Sex offender charged in Niagara

A convicted child molester, who was once the subject of a niagara regional police alert, has been convicted again.

This time it’s for sexual interference involving a 15 year old girl with a cognitive disability in St. Catharines.

William Leadley was sentenced Tuesday to almost two years in prison for having sex with the teen at his apartment last December.

He’s previously been convicted of molesting boys and trying to lure a girl to Hamilton for sex over the internet.
