There was a serious crash in Thorold at 7:30 this morning involving a school bus and a car. Three people in the car were taken to hospital – a male driver, woman passenger and a toddler. Police say due to the weather in Hamilton, an air ambulance carrying the female patient was directed to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto. The school bus driver was treated nearby. There was only one student on the bus at the time of the crash, a 14 year old girl who left the scene uninjured.

Phil Perkins was at the crash scene today speaking to witnesses who are all too accustomed to crashes on that stretch of road.
